Map data & attribution

Vinkt uses store data (name, location, type) from OpenStreetMap for store search and location reminders.

This data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Vinkt's derived per-country data files are themselves publicly downloadable as a share-alike offer under the same license.

What we use

• Store names, brands, and locations of supermarkets, convenience stores, and greengrocers — downloaded per country ahead of time, used only on your own device.
• No live map tiles or third-party servers during normal use — the store data is a periodic, locally stored export.
